Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the football games played?

In 2018, we officially open "Creedon Field" for all Varsity, JV and Freshman home football games.

Address:

Hunt Street

North Quincy, MA  02171

Are concessions sold at the games?

Yes. Also new in 2018 is "Yakoo's", a state-of-the-art concession facility.

How do I register my child to play?

Go to http://quincypublicschools.com/nqhsathletics/, and select the "REGISTER NOW" button. This connects you to the FamilyID program where you can register your child.

You will need to separately select the link to "Pay User Fees", also located on the NQHS Athletics' website.

Are booster fees the same as the registration fee?

No. Booster fees are separate from the registration fee. Annual booster fees are $150, per player.

What are booster fees?

Booster fees fund a variety of opportunities for the Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity players. These include, but aren't limited to:

  • Team Uniforms

  • Practice Jerseys

  • Letterman Jackets

  • Homecoming Dance

  • Senior Night

  • Concession Stand Operations

  • Food/Drink for Players on return from Away Games

  • Kick-Off Dinner

  • Little Thanksgiving Day Game Dinner

  • Thanksgiving Day Game Dinner

  • Annual End-of-Year Banquet

  • Players' gifts | Coaches' gifts

  • Football Scholarships

Each year, players have the opportunity to participate in programs than can help defer the cost of their booster fee.

During the summer, prior to the start of football season, players can represent the school and football program by canning at authorized retail locations. 100% of what is collected goes toward the balance of their annual booster fee.

Selling 50/50 Raffles (drawing occurs at the Thanksgiving Day game) throughout the season is another opportunity for players. 50% of funds raised for this raffle can be applied toward a player's booster fees.

All booster fees must be paid in full by the Thanksgiving Day game or players will not be able to attend the year-end banquet and will not be presented with a gift. Juniors must have their booster fees paid in full by mid-November in order to receive their Letterman Jackets prior to the Thanksgiving Day game.

If you need to know your player's balance or if you have questions, please contact Booster President, Tracey Dooley.

What do the Boosters organize as fundraising events?

  • 50/50 Raffle (this is our biggest single fundraiser!) - tickets can be purchased as early as pre-season games. The drawing occurs at the Thanksgiving Day game.

  • Meat and Gift Raffle - in 2018, this event will again be jointly hosted by the NQHS Football and Cheer Boosters.

  • Test Drive a Car - in conjunction with Quirk Motors, spring 2019 is our next event.

  • Apparel and Merchandise Sales - always sold at home football games. See our "Shop" page for items available.

  • Business sponsorship and donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated!
